I will blog more! ...Some day.
If you missed it, in response to the first paragraph of my last blog post, Gordon has erected a Facebook group to commemorate my death. This invoked outrage and secret glee/appreciation in the user picture. Oh, Gordon. You whore.
This spinach/E. coli thing is freaking me out! That's like, the exact bag of spinach we've had in the fridge for a week, that I've made sandwiches with, and salads. We threw the spinach away, and I bought lettuce instead. But, if I suddenly die, we'll know why (yes, I'm aware that if I had E. coli from eating it a few days ago, I'd already be sick, and blahblahblah).
Wikipedia keeps sucking me in. I waste a lot of time this morning reading about the End of the World, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the Dead Sea Scrolls. I can't even remember what I was looking at originally.
The last couple of days have been pretty awesome. I don't want to bore you with school-details, but things seem to be going all right. I'm hoping that this week will be a lot less stressful now that I know how to prioritize stuff (Of course, this also requires me to not be lazy!). I'm also excited because TV series are starting up (Studio 60 and Grey's Anatomy). I'll have to figure out how to watch them, as I have other activities going on both nights that they air.
Anyway. What else. Yesterday was a really good day, so I can illustrate what a good day is - I got some reading done in the afternoon and then had dinner with Antoine (I need to learn how to cook something so that I can eventually repay him for these meals!). Then some people congregated at our house for a movie. I really want us to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but Gordon was out sick and would probably slaughter us if we started without him, so we watched "The Kid" (Charlie Chaplin) instead. I kept falling asleep - I suck at getting enough sleep.
Then some of us went to Perkin's and it was yummy! Also, the LARP (live-action role play....too geeky even for me!) people apparently go to Perkin's every Friday night. There was much amusement/confusion.
Chad and I went over to the Hilldale Farmer's Market today, which was nice. The normal Farmer's Market in Madison surrounds the Capitol, but this one is in part of the parking lot by a mall not far from our house. It was pretty decent, and didn't require riding a bus to downtown/back. I obtained cheese curds and raspberries, and vowed to not purchase vegetables at the grocery store next week, so that I can buy them fresh/local instead.
There is too much good food everywhere. I really need to stop eating so much. Re-implementation of healthy eating starting....now. It would be a lot easier if I didn't love food so much.
I've been feeling rather creative lately, and I find that lots of random ideas come to me during lecture. It's not like I'm not paying attention or taking notes, but they just come. I want an outlet, and I want to work on Ghost Hunters, or possibly even the more intense/less focused longer story I've been working on since forever. To work on either, though, I need to get into gear and get my homework and studying under control. So, good-bye for now, I'm off to kick ass.
I've taken pictures of my room (freshly cleaned!), and will possibly take some of campus/whatever, so expect an image-heavy post or webpage with commentary in the near future.
